Mount Pleasant
Located in the Hocking Hills area of Ohio, Lancaster is situated near Mount Pleasant, a recreational site that features paths for hiking and horseback riding, as well as the "Standing Stone", a 250-foot sandstone bluff. Lancaster is also located near Rock Mill Lake, which provides opportunities for water activities such as fishing and boating excursions. There are no motels in Lancaster, but there are other types of accommodations where you can stay when you need rest in between outdoor recreational activities.

The Hampton Inn is located near outdoor recreational sites such as Hocking Hills State Park, which is 20 miles away from Lancaster. This recreational area features facilities for camping and picnics, as well as paths for hiking and cycling. The motel is also near Rush Creek Lake, a 302-acre body of water that offers opportunities for fishing and boating. Hampton Inn provides its guests with an indoor swimming pool, exercise room and a business center with fax services. The guestrooms at Hampton Inn each features a 25-inch TV with cable and a king-sized bed, and some of the suites include a sofa bed. There are smoking and nonsmoking rooms available.

Shaw's Restaurant & Inn
Shaw's Restaurant & Inn, located on Broad Street, has a charming, bed-and-breakfast atmosphere and provides its guests with amenities such as live entertainment, facilities for banquets and the restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
