Atlantic City, New Jersey
Bobby Flay has restaurants all over the world, but three are located in his home state of New Jersey. One is Bobby Flay Steak, a high class yet traditional take on a steakhouse, located in the Borgata of Atlantic City on the Jersey Shore. The other two are branches of the chain, Bobby's Burger Palace, a social diner-like experience. All three restaurants have been praised for their balance of traditional dishes with more interesting and often spicy flavors.
Bobby Flay Steak
Opened in July 2006 in Atlantic City, Bobby Flay Steak is Bobby's first steakhouse. He focused on making the menu that of traditional steakhouses that he grew up loving in New York and the Jersey Shore. It combines this traditional feel with a lively and chic dining room covered in red leather and wooden panels. It fits in well in the atmosphere of the Borgata Casino. This is a high traffic restaurant with tables turning very quickly. Reviews on Yelp and Zagat often mention the southwestern influence and flavors throughout many dishes. Prices are high, with an appetizer in the teens, and an entree range from $28 to $135 in Winter 2010.

Bobby's Burger Palace, Paramus
One of two locations for this restaurant in New Jersey, both are created with the same atmosphere. It attempts to mock that of an old-fashioned diner, with long rows of seating, ordering at the counter, and malted milkshakes available. The reviews for the Paramus location are overwhelmingly positive according to Yelp. The burgers are raved about, offering very fresh ingredients and interesting spicy sauces for dipping french fries. Sweet potato fries are also offered here, and are said to be excellent. Burger prices range from $6.50 to $8.50 as of March 2010, but sides (including fries) are not included. Milkshakes are $5, which is on the pricey side for this item, but come in a good range of flavors, from a traditional "Vanilla Bean" to a trendy "Blueberry-Pomegranate."

Bobby's Burger Palace, Eatontown
Bobby's Burger Palace in Eatontown, New Jersey opened about a year before the Paramus location, in 2008. The communal aspect has been difficult for many diners to enjoy here, especially on busy nights. Seating together for large groups tends to be difficult to find, and the personal nature of a night out to eat is lost by sharing a table with strangers. Reviews for the Eatonton location are mixed, but many say the burgers are dry or uninteresting. The sweet potato fries are still spoken highly of, as in the Paramus location's reviews. The prices and menu are identical at both restaurants.
