Savannah Romantic Restaurants

The city of Savannah, Georgia has been named "Best romantic Getaway" by Travel + Leisure Magazine. Thanks to the Southern bed and breakfasts and horse-drawn carriages that can be found throughout the city, those who visit the city or live in it are able to find romantic opportunities all around them. However, those seeking a truly romantic evening can make their evening more special by visiting one of Savannah's romantic restaurants.
Firefly Cafe

Firefly Cafe is located in the historic Troup Square. The building in which the cafe is located was constructed in 1869, although the cafe itself was opened in 2002. Perhaps the reason why this establishment is a favorite for romantics is because it is unassuming. Diners who eat here can peer through the two large, floor-to-ceiling windows in the front of the cafe and watch the busy city pass them by. The restaurant also has a patio at which diners can eat on a summer evening underneath live oaks and magnolias. Some of the signature dishes served here include cranberry pecan spinach, Atlantic salmon and broccoli cavatappi.

45 Bistro

Guests who visit 45 Bistro are inclined to appreciate the elegant atmosphere that includes a spacious dining room with tables far enough from each other to give diners privacy to converse openly with the ones they love. The restaurant is also a frequent host of weddings and reception dinners. Original art hangs on the walls while the vaulted glass ceilings add to the romantic atmosphere. A couple of the entrees on the menu that guests can order include 9 oz. prime filet Mignon with wild mushrooms or slow-roasted duck with roasted parsnips.
