If there is one place in the world that features cuisines from all corners of the planet, then that place is
New York City. Because New York has such a multicultural influence, it offers many kinds of restaurants. These establishments include a variety of Asian, restaurants with classic American cuisine and many other cultural selections. Ranging from small diners to some of the most renowned restaurants in the world, the Big Apple has it all.
Peking Duck House Restaurant
Although the Peking Duck House Restaurant serves a variety of dishes, it is the duck that is the dish most customers order when visiting. Duck is served with pancakes, green scallions, cucumbers and a Peking Duck House Restaurant secret sauce.
Diners can come for lunch or dinner. The restaurant includes specials that change daily. In addition to the duck, customers can order General Tso's chicken, scallops with garlic sauce, sliced orange chicken and sliced beef with broccoli.

Union Square Cafe
While the ambiance of Union Square Cafe in New York City is not fancy, the menu and service are thought to be well above that. Perhaps nowhere is this more evident than in the fact that Zagat has ranked the restaurant as the most popular restaurant in New York City more than half a dozen times.
Union Square Cafe is open daily for lunch and dinner. Dinner entrees include fried calamari with spicy anchovy mayonnaise, Atlantic cod with artichoke, sausage-stuffed roasted quail and grilled lamb chops.

Delmonico's Restaurant
Delmonico's opened in 1837 and was touted as America's first fine dining establishment. Although there are now dozens of fine restaurants in New York City, Delmonico's continues to be a popular and award-winning fine dining spot.
The restaurant is the birthplace of what many consider to be some of the finest dishes created in America, including eggs Benedict, lobster Newburg and baked Alaska. The restaurant has evolved over the years and has added many dishes, however the classic favorites are still prepared as well.
Some of the dishes that have been added over the years include twice-fried French fries, angry red snapper and veal chops.
