Cozumel,
Mexico is a popular tourist destination that is perhaps best known for it coral reefs, swampy lagoons and native wildlife. Because the Cozumel area is a popular tourist destination, it also features a few restaurants that allow guests to experience different cuisine and see different decor than they might be able to in other places.
Restaurant La Mission
Restaurant La Mission is an authentic Mexican restaurant that puts its money where its mouth is. The restaurant's slogan is "Si no te gusta, no pagas." This means "If you don't like it, you don't pay." The restaurant allows guests to do more than just dine. It features surroundings inside the restaurant that include replicas of Mayan ruins, tropical gardens and other greenery. Some of the authentic Mexican dishes that guests to Restaurant la Mission can order include stuffed chile peppers, tampico-style beef filet and veracruzana-style fish.

Lacocay
When Lacocay opened in 1995, management planned on making it a seasonal restaurant. However, its quick growth in popularity turned it into a year-round establishment. The restaurant is located inside of a weathered wood building. Guests who dine here can see some of the decorations in the form of wall art and statues that remind them of old Cozumel as well as enjoy the air conditioned main dining room, inspect the lush garden and stroll through the covered terrace. The restaurant serves dishes that feature meats such as duck breast and chicken breast, as well as seafood such as sesame pepper tuna.
