Maui, Hawaii

Take it from someone who has been all over Hawaii, Maui is the place to go when it comes to family vacations. The island has dozens of activities to do, with many of them involving Maui's scenic surroundings. To start things off, definitely head over to the volcanic beaches located on the eastern side of Maui. What makes these beaches so special is that the sand has been replaced with smooth black rocks, which probably settled there after several volcanic eruptions. Lastly, if you are a surfer, Maui's waves will definitely give you an exhilarating time, so be sure to come prepared.
