Located just off of Interstate 4 and Highway 192 just south of
Orlando, the Amerihost Inn has shaped itself as a family friendly
resort.
Accommodations
The rooms in the Amerihost Inn do not vary widely. Guests to the resort can either get smoking or non-smoking rooms, rooms with two queen beds or rooms with a king sized bed and a sofa bed. Eight rooms also include what are called "kid's suites."
Rates
Room rates start at $41.65 a night for rooms that include two queen beds, up to $54 a night for rooms that contain a king-sized bed as well as a sofa bed.
Amenities
Each guestroom includes a coffee maker, hairdryer and iron and ironing board. Rooms also have cable television, pay per view movies and pay per play Sony PlayStation games. The hotel also includes two heated pools and a fitness center for its guests to use.
Dining
The Amerihost Inn has on-site dining in a restaurant named The Tradewind as well as a lounge by the name of The Brass Monkey. The Tradewind restaurant also offers all-you-can-eat breakfast and dinner buffets.
Children's Focus
The Amerihost does go out of its way to appear welcoming to families and their children specifically. At check-in children can go to a special desk to receive a goodie bag, and the Tradewind restaurant offers a special "kids only" dining area. The hotel also has an indoor pool with a cascading waterfall and an arcade room for the children to use.
