Cheap cruise prices can be hard to find, especially during peak season when
cruises are in high demand, but they can be located with proper research. The Internet enables you to effectively shop around and view the pros and cons of each cruise option before making a final decision. Priceline is a travel website that gives you the option of bidding the amount you would like to spend. There are also several other sites that can be used for shopping around for cheap cruises, including Orbitz, Hotwire and Expedia. Some cruise sites may be cheaper than others, but Priceline is the best way to begin searching. These steps will assist you in finding the cheapest prices that will fit your budget.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step 1
Access the Priceline website to place a bid for the cruise price you desire. (See Resources.)
Step 2
Click "Cruises," which will be displayed as an orange tab at the top of the Priceline web page.
Step 3
Select your desired cruise information. Click on the designated drop-down menus' arrows to provide your desired cruise destination, cruise line, departure date and the number of days you want to cruise. Type your zip code in the blank data form provided. Click on "Search now." A price will be generated based on the information you provided.
Step 4
Review the cruise rates displayed. The prices that are displayed next to the available cruise dates will be the actual price per person. Click on the cruise title at the top of its description to receive more information. Once you have chosen a cruise that meets your preferences, click on the green "Choose" option to the right of the cruise's identification and title.
Step 5
Reserve the cruise of your choice. You will be prompted to purchase your cruise at the time you make your decision. The cruise's detailed information will be displayed on the following screen. Scroll to the bottom and click "Next" to provide your personal information, credit card number and billing address to finalize your cruise. A confirmation screen will be displayed as an eReceipt once your information is processed. An email will be sent to the address you entered for your personal information with details on the delivery of your tickets and cruise itinerary.
