A far-flung cruise should take you to a place you never could have imagined. The
Caribbean and other exotic islands are great, but they won't blow your mind the way a good far-flung cruise will. Keep in mind that these
cruises are the most expensive out there. But, if you can afford them, these will be trips you'll never forget.
Dubai
Perhaps the most exciting new tourist destination in the world, Dubai is best seen from a cruise ship. Dubai offers the largest skyscrapers on earth, man-made islands shaped like palm trees and whales and a warm climate that will keep you in the sun for hours. If you ever wanted to see what all the fuss over this new city is about, take a cruise that will reveal just how magnificent a man-made place can actually be. Trips last one to three weeks and fly from the U.S. to Europe to depart from Singapore.

Antarctica
As surprising as it may sound, one of the most breathtaking and scenic cruises you'll ever embark upon is to Antarctica. If you travel at the right time of the year, the South Pole Summer, the weather is more tolerable than you'd think. Marvel at the mighty icebergs of the world's icy southern tip, and you might even spot some whales, penguins or seals on the way. Trips last 30 days and depart from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

St. Helena
One of the most remote cruises available goes to St. Helena, the island that used to be home to Napoleon Bonaparte during his second exile. This cruise is a long trip, but only 100 to 200 passengers can board the small cruise ship to St. Helena, ensuring an exclusive experience for only the most dedicated world travelers. Keep an eye out for jumping dolphins in the South Pacific waters and giant tortoises on the volcanic island of St. Helena. Trips last between two to four weeks and depart from Walvis Bay, Namibia.
