Lake George is a city, nestled in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in upstate
New York. Thomas Jefferson was once quoted as saying, "Without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw." He is not the only one who feels this way, as many tourists are attracted to Lake George every year. Aside from its activities and attractions, such as Fort William Henry and Fort Ticonderoga, both of which were the sight of many important battles during the French and Indian War, Lake George is home to many luxurious
resorts for those who choose to vacation there.
Antigua Resort
This is an exclusive resort located on the east shore of the lake. There is a stunning 10-mile view of the lake from all of the suites which have been remodeled. The resort offers a 700-foot sandy beach that hosts weekly entertainment. They have docks for their guests to fish from, as well as free canoes and rowboats for those who want to explore the great Lake George. If you choose to relax inside, slide into the jacuzzi or whirlpool found in your suite. At night, participate in the resort's nightly campfire as you plan your next day's activities.
