Maui is home to the world's largest, dormant volcano, Haleakala, and the second largest waterfall in the
United States. It is the second largest island in the Hawaiian chains, and offers its residents and guests 81 glorious
beaches to enjoy. With all of this and more, it's no surprise Maui attracts more than two million tourists each year. This is why Maui is also home to a plethora of hotels for its guests to relax in during their stay.
Banana Bungalow Maui
This is the perfect hotel for those who enjoy nature, comfort and seclusion. It's located in a historic town called Wailuku in central Maui. It is within walking distance of local restaurants, bars, shopping and banks. The staff provides a friendly atmosphere for their guests, who enjoy comfortable, private rooms. The Banana Bungalow is geared toward guests who love to backpack, surf and hike, offering free tours daily. These include hiking tours of Haleakala Volcano and a Iao Valley Rainforest Hike. There are also snorkeling tours and seasonal whale watching tours. Back at the bungalow, guests can become friends as they play a game of pool or foosball, sit in the seven-person jacuzzi, or relax in the common area where the kitchen and lounge are located. There is even a stainless steel, outside grill for guests to barbeque on, along with picnic tables set in a large tropical garden for maximum relaxation.

The hotel also offers many Hawaiian arts and crafts activities for its guests; you only need to sign up at the concierge desk to join in the fun. For parents wanting to relish in the spa services or workout in the fitness center, the hotel also offers babysitting services and a kids club for children ages five to 12.
