Puerto Vallarta is widely regarded as the best beach in Mexico. It has more than 25 miles of beaches and offers a variety of both busy hot spots to secluded beaches in coves. This beach offers the best of everything, from the beaches themselves to the top-notch resorts that surround them.
Cancun
Cancun is the best beach choice for those travelers that are looking for a beach destination that has luxury resorts, restaurants and a booming nightlife. Cancun is also noted for its white-sand beaches and amazingly beautiful water.
Puerto Escondido
Puerto Escondido is a best beach destination for those that are looking for value. World-class surfing conditions can be found at the Playa Zicatela beach, and the entire area is known for great prices on the lodging and food, and at the nightclubs.
Playa del Carmen
This beach might be the best in Mexico for those who want a very laid-back, low-key, almost lazy beach vacation. The people at the beaches, restaurants and shops all seem to have the same "take it easy" attitude. The beaches are also famous for white sand and clear blue water that is perfect for swimming.
