How to Reset Samsonite Luggage Combination Locks
Setting the combination locks on Samsonite luggage is a simple process. The original factory setting of the luggage lock will be 0-0-0 and should be changed after purchase. Choosing a personalized three-digit number will help safeguard your luggage from thieves. The code should be difficult for strangers to guess, and it is a good idea not to use any number combination that may be written on the tags attached to your luggage, such as an address.
Locate and remove the red packing arrow on the lock if there is one.
Set the combination lock to the previous setting. On a new piece of luggage this will be 0-0-0.
Choose three digits that will be easy to remember.
Push the button toward the dial or move the lever to the lowest position and hold it in place while you rotate the dials to display the numbers you have selected.
Release the button or lever. The combination lock is now set to the numbers that you have selected.
