How to Pack a Business Suit in a Suitcase

There is nothing worse than starting a business trip and having to deal with a wrinkled business suit out of the suitcase. There always is the dry cleaner, but the hassle involved is not something any businessperson likes to deal with. There are ways to get around a wrinkled business suit and it is all about the packing.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step 1

Invest in luggage that features a suit compartment. This will allow you to hang the jacket and suit in a special compartment where the clips and hanger will ensure there is no wrinkling.

Step 2

If using a regular suitcase, you have the option of rolling the suit to minimize wrinkles. This ensures the suit does not have stark lines. Roll all of your other garments as well.

Step 3

Make sure you pack your suitcase ensuring every garment and item are tightly packed. Then you can place the suit in a hanger and fold it in half with the bottom over the top. Then place the suit in the luggage and ensure the folding is not done harshly.

Step 4

Use the garment straps in the luggage to ensure everything in the pack is tight and held in place with the least amount of movement. This will ensure there will be minimal wrinkles when you take out the suit.

Step 5

Once you get to your destination, take out the suit immediately and hang it to remove any wrinkles. Another way to get rid of the slight lines is to hang it in the bathroom and run hot water, with the steam getting rid of any slight lines.
