Quilters and quilt traders from around the world converge on
Houston every October for the International Quilt Festival. Colorful and one of a kind, handwoven, antique and contemporary quilts are on display and are available for trade and purchase. Special exhibits and information lectures also occur throughout the three days of the festival. For visitors looking for 4-star hotels near the International Quilt Festival, there are many to choose from, most within a couple miles of the festival and some within walking distance.
