The Atlantic City Airport is located off of the Atlantic City Expressway in New Jersey. It is about a 20-minute drive from the famed Atlantic City boardwalk and casino strip. If you're flying in and you'd rather stay closer to the airport for convenience, you have a variety of two-star hotel choices to consider.

The Absecon area is full of hotels and motels because it is located right off of the airport on White Horse Pike (exit 12 off of the Atlantic City Expressway). It's perfect for business travelers because there is free wireless Internet, a fax machine and other convenient business services available. The only downside for some is that the bathrooms come equipped with tubs only (some suites come with Jacuzzis). Expect to pay about $50 and up a night for a room.

Empire Inn & Suites Atlantic City/Absecon
At about $60 per night on average, the Empire Inn gives you a lot of bang for your buck for a two-star rated hotel. That includes free breakfast, free Internet, pool, airport shuttle (which is provided at a fee), fridge, and satellite television. You can bring in your pets for a fee. The hotel is on White Horse Pike, about eight miles from the boardwalk and a few miles from the airport.

Liberty Inn Atlantic City
If you need an inexpensive place to do your work and relax afterward, the Liberty Inn is a viable option. The hotel has a business center for workers and free WiFi in each room. In addition to the television, this hotel provides you with a DVD player as well, so you can have a movie night after a long day of working. Like most other off-airport hotels in Atlantic City, this property is located on White Horse Pike in Absecon. The average per night rate is around $70 per night.

This is one more choice for Atlantic City travelers who want to stay around the airport area in a quiet suburban location. This inn is about seven miles away from the AC boardwalk on White Horse Pike. With this hotel you get the bare basics---TV, hair dryer, and AC---with a few added in features, like the complimentary Internet service, microwave, and in-room fridge. The average rates are around $50 per night.
