Harvey, Louisiana is a small suburban town on the outskirts of
New Orleans. If you are looking to overnight in a well known lodging chain, the Holiday Inn Express may meet your needs.
Location
The Holiday Inn Express is located at 2433 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey, Louisiana which is just off the "West Bank" area of the city of New Orleans. This particular hotel is approximately a seven mile drive from the New Orleans city center.
Transportation
Access to the hotel from New Orleans' Louis Armstrong International Airport, is available via taxi. As of January 2010, The Holiday Inn Express advises it is a 25 minute drive and costs about $45 one way. For train travelers, the New Orleans Amtrack station is six miles from the hotel.
Accommodations
Guest rooms are configured with two queen size or one king size bed in rooms described as Standard, King Suite or Executive Club Level Suite. Rooms may be available with microwave and minifridge for guest convenience. All room linens and bedding have been upgraded to provide a more comfortable guest experience.
Amenities
If you stay at the Holiday Inn, each morning you may partake of complimentary, hot breakfast. Throughout the day you may use the free internet, the outdoor pool, and the fitness center.

You may explore the restaurants in the area, which have Cajun and Creole styled specialties. Also, the hotel is located five miles from Boomtown Casino and seven miles from the French Quarter.
