How to Get a Visa for Brazil
Brazil is a large country with a lot of diversity in the landscape, in the history and in the culture. It is well known for its dazzling natural resources and its fantastic nightlife. But whether you are going to Brazil for outdoor adventure, relaxation in gorgeous natural settings, for the spicy music and food or for the cultural and historical sites, you likely will need a tourist visa to enter the country. Visas can take quite a while to process and are only good for three months from the time of receipt.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step 1
Get two passport photos within six months of the time you will be applying for the visa. Passport photos must be 2 inches by 2 inches.
Step 2
Go online to locate the Brazilian consulate in your city.
Step 3
Download the visa application and print it out.
Step 4
Fill out the application form but don't sign it.
Step 5
Print out of your plane tickets and/or travel itinerary.
Step 6
Write out a money order or a check for the application fee. You can find the current application fee prices on the consulate website.
Step 7
Bring your application form, passport photos, copy of plane ticket, the application fee and your passport to the consulate to apply for your Visa.
Step 8
Wait for your application to process.
