With the Personalized Package Program you will be able to choose the site of your new home and the model and colors for a Cottage, Designer or Premier Series house. Newly built homes have been professionally designed and are ready for immediate occupancy. The Villages also offers a several pre-owned homes in a variety of styles throughout the community.
Lifestyle
It is easy to meet your neighbors and make new friends through the numerous activities and events offered every day at The Villages. The charming downtown areas feature restaurants, shops and dancing. Add those to town squares, resident clubs, special interest groups, the Rialto Theatre, Old Mill Playhouse and recreation facilities, and residents are sure to find an activity that meets their interests. The community also features special events and parades to celebrate popular holidays, including Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's Day and Oktoberfest.
Recreation
Several recreation centers are located throughout the community. Modern Neighborhood Centers, Village Centers and Regional Centers each offer a variety of activities every day. Activities include arts and crafts, dancing, music theater, social clubs and sports. Health and wellness classes focus on low-impact workouts including yoga, stretching, toning and aerobics, and there are power walking groups as well. Recreation centers feature swimming pools, bocce, horseshoes and shuffleboard courts. The community also offers softball fields, golf, polo grounds and a woodworking shop.
Golf
As a Villages resident, you will be able to play golf on the executive courses for free for the rest of your life. You also receive a free lifetime membership in all of The Villages' country clubs, including The Villages' Palmer Legends and Nancy Lopez Legacy clubs. Arnold Palmer and LPGA Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez both designed championship courses for the community. If your are a novice player or need to brush up your skills, The Villages' golf academy and pro shop offers lessons and equipment for very level.
Lifestyle preview plan
If you are considering becoming a resident of The Villages, consider taking advantage of the Lifestyle Preview Plan package. For less than $100 a night, potential residents are invited to spend four to six nights at the Creekside Cabanas and will receive ID cards that provide access to the swimming pools, tennis facilities and free golf on the championship and executive courses. During the visit, guests are encouraged to experience all the amenities the self-contained community has to offer, and to that end, they receive complimentary dining opportunities, free movie tickets, a trolley tour and boat ride from Lake Sumter Landing as well as discounts at stores within The Villages.
