Westchester is one of the wealthiest counties in the country.
Upper Westchester mostly consists of affluent villages located in the northern part of
New York's Westchester County. Notably more suburban and rural than southern municipalities found within the county, villages and hamlets like Mount Kisco and Chappaqua both offer restaurants serving international cuisine. Situated just north of the New York City borough of the Bronx, Spanish, French and seafood restaurants are prevalent in Upper Westchester.
La Camelia Restaurant
La Camelia Restaurant serves authentic Spanish cuisine in the Upper Westchester village of Mount Kisco. Acclaimed by The New York Times, La Camelia has been serving area patrons for over two decades.
The restaurant has an expansive selection of traditional Spanish tapas to choose from, like grilled octopus and stuffed little neck clams. Patrons can also choose from any of several cold appetizer dishes, including salad selections.
La Camelia's dinner entrées consist of meat, seafood and pasta dishes, like broiled sirloin steak with shallots and penne pasta with meatballs, as well as the traditional Spanish favorite, paella Valenciana.
