The joys of pregnancy can pale a bit when faced with the crowds at Disney World. However, if you plan with your health care provider, the trip can be fun for you and your family. Keep in mind that some of the rides are not recommended for pregnant women, but those rides will have posted signs.
Health Care Provider
Make sure you have a current copy of your medical records and the name of a reputable health provider (ask your obstetrician for a recommendation) in the Orlando area in case an emergency arises.
Magic Kingdom
In the Magic Kingdom, avoid even gentle rides like "Dumbo" if you're easily nauseated. Also off-limits are "Splash Mountain," "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad," "Magic Carpets of Aladdin," the teacup ride, "Barnstormer," "Astro Orbiter," "Space Mountain," and the "Tomorrowland Indy Speedway." While others in your family may enjoy those, you could use the time to do some shopping for you or your baby.
Epcot
Epcot has the fewest number of attractions that are off-limits to pregnant women; "Body Wars" and "Test Tracks" should be avoided.
Massage
Book a mother-to-be treatment at the spa at the Grand Floridian or the Disney Institute Spa.
Bathrooms
Use the park map to identify the closest bathroom wherever you are in the park. As you probably have realized, pregnant women often have a frequent need for this facility.
Disney-MGM Studios
Avoid "Star Tours," the "Rock n' Roller Coaster," and the "Tower of Terror" as they're all off-limits for pregnant women.
Baby Clothes
You can buy delightful clothes to add to your nursery during your trip. Disney clothes are generally very good quality; you can justify any high prices by thinking of the potential for hand-me-downs.
