Chicago is more than just the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Hancock Observatory and Wrigley Field. Though those are all fun things to do, don't stop there. Sometimes the most fun you can have in Chicago comes from finding things a little off the beaten path. So, if you've already visited the Sears Tower, Art Institute and Adler Planetarium, journey to other sites in the Windy City.
Ghost Hunting
Chicago is famous, in part, for being at the center of the 1920s gangster craze and its numerous gangland slayings. In addition, there was the Chicago Fire. These events and others have turned Chicago into a real ghost town. Adults and older children can visit Chicago's ghostly places and sites of spectral visions. The tour visits parks, hotels, landmarks and famous buildings where ghosts allegedly haunt. Previous guests have had their photos of weird shapes and figures posted on the Internet.

For another glimpse into Chicago's violent, gangster-ridden past, take the Untouchables Tour. This mobile tour takes you to the heart of Chicago's gangland operation, Little Italy. Rather than just another museum with glass-encased memorabilia and wax figures, the Untouchables tour features knowledgeable guides with names like Ice Pick and Shoulders. These guides enhance your understanding of that era in Chicago's history by revealing the men behind the legends, with true stories collected from people who lived in Chicago during the 1920s.

Amazing Chicago Funhouse Maze
The Amazing Chicago Funhouse Maze is at Navy Pier. The maze is 4,000 square feet of kaleidoscopic tunnels, mirrors, tight squeezes and fun. Along the way you'll witness yourself shape-shifting, experience the sensation of the world turning topsy-turvy, and be forced to stamp out a virtual fire. Those who are prone to dizziness or experience vertigo are cautioned to avoid stepping into this maze, as are children under age 5.
