Survival food outlets specialize in products needed for survival, such as freeze-dried foods, canned foods and other products that don't require refrigeration. These foods are helpful in situations where there is no water or power, like during an earthquake or another natural disaster. In the state of Colorado, a few places sell survival food.
Farris Survival LLC

The company offers energy bars with 1,200 calories and a shelf life of five years, as well as emergency kits and emergency foods. The Just in Case kit comes complete with 28 packages of different freeze-dried foods, including chili and chicken. Shoppers can purchase direct from the company's store location or through the website.

Bargain Mart
Bargain Mart isn't a traditional survival outlet food store, but the store offers food that works for survivalists and survival kits. The store focuses on selling non-perishable goods at rock-bottom prices, with a constantly changing inventory. The owners of the store purchase items that aren't fit for regular stores because of dents or minor surface damage, and sell these items at low prices. In the past, the store offered energy bars, boxes of cereal and canned goods.
