resorts located in Colorado, whether you are speaking of Vail, Aspen or Telluride. Before you plan a Colorado ski trip, you should research the best ski resorts and see what they offer to determine the best one for your needs.
Aspen Snowmass
Aspen Snowmass is a lovely, family-friendly Colorado ski resort. It is located in western Colorado in a city called Pitkin. There are four different skiing areas at Aspen Snowmass, located on four separate mountains. It is probably the planet's most well-known skiing resort. There is something for everyone, from Buttermilk with its low altitude and family-friendly vibe, and Snowmass, right by Snowmass Village, which is the biggest of the skiing areas. The majority of the lifts at Aspen Snowmass open at 9 a.m. every day and close by 3:30 p.m. (depending on the weather). The resort has more than 4,000 acres of terrain.

Telluride
Telluride Ski Resort is a nice Colorado ski resort to consider visiting due to the fact that both its lifts and slopes are usually very uncrowded, even during ski season. This is beneficial because you don't have to deal with crowds and are able to really enjoy your skiing experience as a result. Many people compare skiing at Telluride to having their own personal ski slope. There are skiing areas for skiers of all different levels of ability at this resort. There is a good blend of high-quality terrain on all parts of the mountain at Telluride Ski Resort. There are 1,700 acres of skiable terrain at this resort.

Vail Ski Resort
Vail Ski Resort is located right by the town of Vail in Colorado's Eagle County. It is the biggest single-mountain skiing resort in all of the United States, spanning an astounding 5,200 acres. The resort's Blue Sky Basin has gladed terrain for intermediates and seven bowls. The resort is comprised of three sections--the aforementioned Blue Sky Basin, as well as the Back Bowls and the Front Side. There are all different varieties of trails, and the mountain is composed of wide terrain.

SolVista
SolVista (located approximately 90 miles northwest of Denver) is considered to be the best skiing mountain for families. It has several exciting skiing educational programs, and it is known for having very convenient and easy access. The ski resort is 5,400 acres in size. Kids will learn a lot at the Childrens Center, which is part of the SolVista Ski and Ride School. Cross country skiing is also popular at SolVista.

Ski Cooper
Ski Cooper is a Colorado ski resort located in Leadville (in the San Isabel National Forest). It has a reputation of having a friendly, warm atmosphere and being very family oriented. It is also well known for being highly affordable. The slopes of Ski Cooper are uncrowded, as are the lesson programs. Visitors to this ski resort can engage not only in Alpine skiing, but also cross country skiing and snowboarding.
