Location. The Independence Square Lodge enjoys an exclusive location on the downtown mall in Aspen, Colorado. Breathtaking scenery and a colorful history attract visitors from all over the world to this area of Colorado. Founded as a mining camp in the 19th century, Aspen has transformed over the years into a world renowned ski resort and cultural center. Frequented by celebrities, many of which reside in the area, Aspen is also popular with artists, writers and intellectual types. Chic salons, high-end boutiques and gourmet restaurants make up much of downtown.
Hotel Features. The only lodging available on the downtown mall, the Independence Square Lodge provides guests with a complimentary continental breakfast each morning.
