Welcome to Bear Slide blending the charm and warmth of the Smokies with todays advance home technology. Bear Slide is design to create a special harmony between home and land, inside and outside. A four bedroom cabin with all kings size beds featuring comfortable pillow top mattress, plenty of closet space, Russound four source music system with XM Radio, 20 Sony TVs with DVD/VCR, and each bedroom has a unique and spacious bathroom. Bathrooms all have showers and/or tub combinations. In three of the bathrooms, guest can relax in 72 double slipper tub or a two-person corner whirlpool or a 16 deep jet whirlpool. Three of the titled bathrooms have double sinks with plenty space to share with your special someone. The kitchen features an island work center with hickory cabinets, seating for six guests, and all the modern appliances. The dining room table built by a local furniture craftsman will seat eight guests. The Great Room with wood cathedral ceiling, beams and floor has a leather sofa that offers an excellent view of the 42 wall mount Plasma TV with B & G speakers and 5.1 Surround Sound. The ambience and warmth of the gas fireplace, a great DVD movie with a theater sound system in a relaxing sofa will make your vacation a dream in the Smokies. The Game Room has an attractive pool and game table. The guests will enjoy the wet bar which includes a microwave, refrigerator and sink for either that early morning coffee or a late night snack. Bear Slide has provided a Dell computer with high-speed broadband cable for surfing the web for the latest weather report, dinning, or National Park information. Also guests will find a second gas fireplace with a Sony 50 LCD television with DVD-VCR and a Playstation 2 for those non-pool players. A sofa sleeper provides additional sleeping. Outside on the lower level deck is a 6 - 8 person hot tub with outsides speakers that connect to the Russound home music system. Guests will want to call back home to tell everyone about roughing it in the Smokies, so Bear Slide has included free local and unlimited long-distance calling. Bear Slide is located just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg in the community of Black Bear Falls.
