Overview

Location. 12 minutes south of Springfield in the quiet village of Cedarville, Ohio, Hearthstone Inn & Suites is located adjacent to a city park offering a playground, baseball diamond, jogging track, tennis courts, and an outdoor picnic pavilion. The Cedarville Opera House is just one block away, and the Ohio-to-Erie Bike Trail is adjacent to the inn.
Hotel Features. This non-smoking country inn has a lobby with a 20-foot stone fireplace, 1885 hand-hewn barn beams, glove leather sofa, chess board, and hand-painted murals. Historical displays significant to the local area and to the Civil War are featured on the second floor. Pottery, soaps, slate paintings, cookbooks, dried arrangements, and Greene County honey are all available in the Hearthstone Cottage Gift Shop, which is fashioned of 1880's barn wood from floor planks to ceiling beams. A complimentary breakfast including pecan sticky buns and oversized cinnamon rolls is offered daily.

Guestrooms. The 20 smoke-free guestrooms at the inn are warmly decorated and are equipped with air conditioning, telephones, cable televisions, and high-speed wireless Internet access. VCR/DVD players are available to rent. Refrigerators and coffeemakers are included. Jacuzzi suites are also available, and feature a jetted spa tub, DVD/VCR/CD player, sleeper sofa, and a kitchenette/wet bar.

Expert Tip. The Historic Clifton Mill four miles away is adorned in over 3 million Christmas lights from Thanksgiving to New Years. The mill, which still produces freshly ground flour, features a world-class collection of Santa Clauses, miniature village, and an illuminated mill water wheel.
