The historic stone lodge in Pine, Colorado, originally known as 'Casina Lontana', was built in 1929 for a well known Denver Socialite and her husband an Italian Prince. The property, known today as Meadow Creek Bed and Breakfast, was transformed in the mid-1980's and has now become one of the Top 50 Inns in America. Meadow Creek b&b is located just 45 minutes from Denver, and is open year round. This 34-acre property is nestled in a secluded meadow surrounded by stone outcroppings, tall pines, aspens and wildflowers and bordered by a small spring-fed creek at an elevation of 8,200 feet.
