Ivy Terrace is a privately owned pre-war townhouse on East 58th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.Some of our rooms have private terraces Breakfast is included and each of our 6 studio apartments has its own kitchen. Wireless internet is free Ivy Terrace on the border of East Midtown and the Upper East Side, a very safe neighborhood, right in the heart of Manhattan. This residential tree-lined street is also known as Decorators Way, due to the many design showrooms and antique stores nearby. The world famous Felidia, right across the street, is only one of the many fine restaurants on the block. We are ideally located for both the business and leisure travelers. You'll be in walking distance to midtown business addresses, 5th Avenue shopping, museums, Rockefeller Center, fao Schwartz, Central Park and Carnegie Hall The subway is a block and a half away for convenient travel to other attractions. Our six beautiful rooms have all the comforts of home. Fifteen foot ceilings and nine foot windows boast original moldings. All have beautiful hardwood floors, newly renovated full kitchens, and private baths with tub and shower. Furnished in antiques and period reproductions, the suites each feature a queen-sized cherrywood sleigh bed, or brass/iron bed with high quality mattresses, lovely artwork, European tapestries, color cable tv, private phone w/answering machine.
