Overview
Welcome to the 412 East Taylor 'Pied à Terre' an 1855 carriage house featured in John Berendt's popular novel, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The private entrance gate from Taylor Street winds through the garden and around a fountain to the door of the carriage house. The garden level includes a spacious living room and dining area furnished with antiques, a convertible sofa for extra guests and a 27-inch cable tv, a powder room and a full kitchen with washer and dryer. The kitchen is stocked with orange juice, fruit, cereal, muffins, coffee, tea and milk for guests to enjoy breakfast at their leisure.
