We welcome you to the Schell Haus at Table Rock. Tucked away in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, this Victorian style home makes the perfect getaway for vacations, business retreats, reunions, or romantic adventures. A full view of Table Rock and wooded acreage provide the backdrop as you relax in one of our six delux guest rooms. All are furnished with private baths, coffee makers, hidden TV's and VCRs. Your stay will be relaxed and comfortable; complemented by a full breakfast of our unique recipes, including the accent of local seasonal fruits and berrier. The foothills of the Blue Ridge and the valley provide magnificent views. Five state parks and three major golf courses are within minutes and offer a world of amenities. Other activites include boating, swimming, hiking, biking, and guided nature walks. A fisherman's paradise at lakes Keowee, Jocassee, and Hartwell are just a short drive away as are the Biltmore Estate, Pigsah National Forest, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. In many cases, we can provide free park passes. The area is rich in history and tradition. The Schell Haus is situated in the Oolenoy Valley once the home of the Cherokee Indian. Pumpkintown, the hub of the settlers and Indian activities in the late 1700's is still a busy crossroad with a well attended cultural and craft fair each October. The Schell Haus's northwest South Carolina location is easily accessible from Furman and Clemson Universities, Asheville, Greenville and Interstates 85 and 26. Excellent restaurants, shops, antiques, and entertainment are nearby.
