Overview

We are delighted to share a little about ourselves. We married in 1974 and immediately moved to Paradise, a mountain town in Northern California, where we stayed for the next 25 years. During that time, we worked with the local hospital and reared a son. Twenty-five years later, our son was grown and gone from home, and health care in California was going through drastic changes. At the time, we were both in upper management at the hospital and working ourselves into an early grave. Through a series of extraordinary events, we decided to change careers - hospitality and real estate. Before we bought Cricketwood, we managed a Bed and Breakfast llc type Lodge in Sisters (a small town 20 minutes from Bend). We immediately knew this was our calling. We loved the guests and received great joy from helping to make their experience wonderful and memorable. So in 1999, after eight months of managing, we bought the Cricketwood Country Bed and Breakfast llc in Bend. It is so beautiful here. We sure hope you can experience it for yourselves.
