Overview

The Thomas Shepherd Inn is located in downtown Shepherdstown, on the corner of Duke and German Streets. A variety of restaurants, shops and historic buildings are all within easy walking distance, as is Shepherd University. Harper’s Ferry, Berkeley Springs, and Antietam Battlefield are within short driving distances. We offer six spacious, air conditioned and delightfully furnished guest rooms, all with private bath. Our living room with fireplace, two formal dining rooms, library and porch, which overlooks our garden, are also available for your enjoyment. A complete breakfast, prepared by your innkeepers Jeanne and Jim, is included with your room. Coffee and tea service is available for early risers at 7:00 and breakfast is served from 8:30 to 9:30. Please let us know if you have special dietary requirements. We have off-street parking available behind the inn on Duke Street.
