Overview
Our two-story red brick home has four bedrooms and the 'Judge Baylor suite,' all with private baths and either king-size, queen-size or twin beds. Each room is spacious and beautifully appointed. The rooms have been remodeled and arranged to afford maximum privacy with no two rooms sharing adjacent walls. In addition to central heat and air, each room has a ceiling fan for your added comfort. Judge r.e.b. Baylor was the founder of Baylor University which was chartered by the Republic of Texas in 1845. The Judge Baylor House at 908 Speight Ave. is located adjacent to the campus and is a three-minute drive to downtown Waco and the Waco Convention Center. The world's largest collection of materials relating to Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning is housed in the Armstrong-Browning library, also located on Speight Avenue just 1½ blocks away. The library has 56 stained glass windows depicting the poems of the Brownings.
