Not your normal b&b. Just six blocks from the French Quarter along the historic Esplanade. The house is an 1880's Greek Revival Mansion done in the Italianate style. It preserves and rediates the atmosphere of a time gone by with 14 foot cove ceilings that terminate in a delicate plaster shell motif, ceiling medallions and the original crystal chandeliers. The house boasts eight fireplaces with the original mantels and tile hearths. The guest suites are upstairs and are each named for a different continent - Europe, Asia and Eurasia and North American, our private get-a-way cottage in the garden area is designed for our guests who are physically challenged - North America. All guest accommodations are outfitted with 300 count sheets, Egyptian cotton Spa towels, Aromatherapy Spa Ammeinities, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers and cable tv.
