Stare at the lake, we offer a nice partial view of the lake. The lake is only 6/10 of mile down our road. The closest and very private beach rights (no charge) is only 1 mile door to water. Parking is free there, and there is a town dock for boats (day use only) our house sits on 1.59 acres, and has woods and a stream you can explore. There are two town beaches with lifeguards, parking, grills, and picnic tables within 2 miles of the house, $5.00 per day for those. We have high speed wireless internet. Please bring your own laptop since there is no computer. We also have everything you need to make your week totally enjoyable. Ping pong table, horseshoes, volleyball, bumper pool table. For mom and dad we have a washer and dryer on the first floor, and a bbq grill, above the range microwave for quick reheating and cooking, and all the pots and pans you'll need for the times you cook in. Don't forget we have a huge lawn (1.5 acres) to play on. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room for the romance or warm up on a chilly Adirondack night. The house does have a full heating system if it gets too cold. There are fans in every room, and in the Adirondacks, there really is no need for ac, which we don't have, nor need. The best lake in the usa - pure clean water to swim, water ski, boat, or just float on a raft and enjoy your day. Lake George has approximately 28,200 acres of water and approximately 44 square miles of surface area. Lake George is so clear that many residences use the lake for their drinking water. - Some of the best restaurants are right here in Bolton Landing - Boat rentals right in town. - Weekly concerts on the beach during the summer. - Bolton is a quaint town, enjoy a stroll among all the stores, walk to the water, and enjoy a care free vacation. Other local attractions: Saratoga race tracks, Saratoga performance arts center, Great Escape Amusement Park(Six Flags) Million dollar mile outlet shopping - skiing for you winter people - Cross Country lit night course, Crandall Park, Glen Falls, NY 8 miles Rt. 9 or i-87 West Mountain ski trails lit night skiing. Queensbury, NY 7 miles Rt. 9 or i-87 Killington, Vermont 55 miles varied routes.
