Overview
Built in the 1930's, El Primero Boutique Hotel was 'the first' modern hotel in Chula Vista. At a building cost of $30,000, it offered amenities such as steam heat, and hot and cold running water. In the Summer of 2004, El Primero was lovingly restored to its original historic significance with the intention of bringing back new life to this zig-zag design, art deco era-style hotel.
