Overview

Hotel Plaza e de Russie is the oldest hotel in Viareggio and its name honours the Russian aristocracy that generally spent its holidays in Versilia. Its top location on the promenade, across from the famous meeting places and elegant boutiques along the "passeggiata", dates from these early years. The building has been renovated in the original style and embellished with fine marble, period furniture and Murano chandeliers. Each of the rooms has a different decor and colour scheme, although all are fitted with the same modern comforts. The convention room is equipped with the most advanced technology.There is a saltwater swimming pool at a nearby beach club. The “La Terrazza” Restaurant serves creative Mediterranean cuisine and fresh local fish in a room with a view extending from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Apuan Alps.
