Disneyland, situated about 25 miles south of downtown
Los Angeles, is located in the city of
Anaheim, in the northern part of Southern California's Orange County.
Getting to Disneyland by Car
Disneyland is easy to reach by car because it is close to several freeways. The closest and most well-known of these is Interstate 5, which features prominent signs for Disneyland that will help you find the park.
Getting to Disneyland by Plane
If you are traveling by air, you have a couple of different options: Nearby John Wayne Airport (SNA) is convenient, but Anaheim is also relatively close to the larger Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Getting to Disneyland by Train
An Amtrak station is located only a few miles away from Disneyland, near Angel Stadium.
Other Attractions in Anaheim
Anaheim is home to other attractions as well as Disneyland. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play baseball at nearby Angel Stadium, and Disneyland is also close to Knott's Berry Farm.
Beaches Near Anaheim
While Anaheim isn't on the beach, it is only about a half-hour away from Orange County hot spots like Newport Beach and Huntington Beach.
