Wedding Reception Places in Allentown, Pennsylvania
Allentown, located in northeastern Pennsylvania, sits close to the once-prominent honeymoon destination of the Pocono Mountains. The city has plenty of shopping and entertainment and enjoys several wedding and reception possibilities. Location is a major advantage as Allentown is situated between
New York City and
Philadelphia, both less than two hours away. And Allentown's Lehigh Valley Airport can provide quick getaways to honeymoon destinations. Three locations for receptions in Allentown include the Iron Lakes Country Club, Brew Works and King George Inn.
Iron Lakes Country Club
The Iron Lakes Country Club staff holds over 50 years of experience in weddings with the sole purpose of making each event memorable. Their event menu contains an array of dishes, but the staff is happy to work with you to customize the menu. Dining services include white glove, family style or buffet. The largest wedding facility in the country club is the Lakeview Ballroom, which holds up to 350 individuals. Two smaller rooms are also available. For the wedding ceremony, the country club contains two outdoor locations. The first overlooks the lake and the second is the 18th hole of Iron Lakes Golf Course. Lakes Country Club's all-inclusive wedding package includes a five-hour open bar, choice of hors d'oeuvres, champagne, appetizer, salad, entrée, valances, cake-cutting, wedding tulle, candelabras, archway, mailbox and linen colors.
