The community of Crofton is part of the combined metropolitan area of
Baltimore-Washington in the state of Maryland. Crofton remains an unincorporated community on the periphery of the city of Annapolis. Moreover, Crofton is located midway between the Washington Beltway and Annapolis and is 20 minutes away from Baltimore and 10 minutes from Annapolis. The planned community revolves around an 18-hole golf course with parks and hiking trails nearby. Money Magazine listed Crofton as one of the "100 Best Places to Live" in 2007 for its idyllic location and proximity to amenities.

The restaurant has been serving the area for more than 20 years with indoor dining and delivery service. Hunan Express serves pan-Asian cuisine with an emphasis on traditional Hunan and Szechuan dishes. Hunan cuisine is spicy and hot--its main ingredients consisting of chilies, garlic and shallots.
