In the U.S. the last milestone before adulthood is the 21st birthday. With the exception of renting a car, you now have all the same rights and privileges as anyone else. Most 21st birthdays are spent exercising these rights, especially the right to buy alcohol. Competitive spirits can enjoy a night of playing billiards at The Blue Cue located in mid-town Sacramento. The brick building is located at the corner of 28th and J St. The bar also has shuffleboard and televises local sporting events. The cocktail bar is extensive with the themed "Cue-tini" or, for those of you that tire early in the night, espresso martinis. Happy hour lasts Tuesday to Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Arabian Nights
The Kasbah Lounge offers up a taste of the Middle East with a bit of Spanish infusion. The interior is decorated with brightly colored silk tapestry, and on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 p.m. belly dancers perform for your viewing pleasure. The lounge is open daily from 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Serving food until closing, the lounge boasts to be one of the few places in Sacramento that won't kick you out at 2:00 a.m.

Birthday on a Budget
The crazy and wild biker crowd at the historical Stoney Inn will no doubt leave with an unforgettable night. With free prime rib buffet up until 8 p.m. with paid cover, and $2 Long Island Ice Teas and $3 32 oz. "big beers" from 8 to 10 p.m., this bar offers quite a deal. If all you want to do is dance than Sacramento has Faces, featuring mainstream hip-hop and R&B. The club stays open for after-hours dancing until 3am and offers deals via by texting FACES to 25827 (clubs). With a motto like, "Everyone is Welcome," this gay and lesbian-friendly venue is known for not only a friendly, but usually packed dance floor. On Sunday nights Faces hosts a BBQ from 2 to 8 p.m., with $1 drafts and $2 well drinks.
