March is a great month to visit
San Francisco, California. There are many events and activities for everyone in the family. Springtime in San Francisco offers crisp, cool and sunny weather, with fresh ocean breezes.
Emerald Across the Bay 12k Run
Work up a sweat and raise funds for charity at the annual Emerald Across the Bay 12k Run. Participants run or walk from Sausalito to San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge. Interestingly, this race began as a promotion for Houlihan's Restaurant, with the race beginning on St. Patrick's Day, in 1983, at the San Francisco location and ending at the Sausalito location.

St. Patrick's Day in San Francisco
The St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival is a fun way for visitors to learn more about Irish history and the local Irish culture by experiencing Irish dancing, Irish music and green beer. Artisans and food vendors, children's rides and inflatables, plus live performing artists, from musicians to dancers, make this an event the whole family can enjoy.
