Sacramento is a city in Northern California, in Sacramento County. It serves as the state's capital. It is the seventh-biggest city in the state. Sutter's Fort State Historic Park
Sutter's Fort State Historic Park is the location of Sutter's Fort Museum, which was the first settlement of a European in California. It was established by a German-Swiss immigrant by the name of Johann August Sutter back in 1839. The house was constructed out of adobe and has been restored to its original splendor. The museum displays artifacts and relics from the Gold Rush and the pioneering era. This is an excellent historical attraction for learning about the region's history.

California State Railroad Museum
The California State Railroad Museum is vast and spans more than 100,000 square feet. This museum is notable for being the largest railway museum on the planet. The museum displays more than 20 restored railway coaches and locomotives, many wagons, and more than 40 other relics and artifacts of railway history. This museum is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Sacramento area and provides great fun and educational value for the entire family.

California State Capitol Museum
The California State Capitol Museum is a wonderful way to get a glimpse of the state's past. The museum consists of seven historic rooms from the Old Capitol, with decorations and furniture that authentically depict styles of the early 20th century. Apart from the museum, check out the actual State Capitol building, with its neoclassical style and colorful, vibrant gardens.

Waterworld USA
Waterworld USA is a vast water park in Sacramento. With more than 30 rides and attractions, including Cliffhanger, Tornado, the Big Kahuna and Typhoon Slide Complex, this is an excellent place for the entire family to have a fun and an energetic day. Spend some time in Wild Water Kingdom, which is a refreshing place to splash and have fun in the water (specifically 20,000 gallons of it). This is a particularly good tourist attraction for families with children.

The Sacramento Zoo consists of more than 400 animals over 14 acres. Whether you want to see golden-bellied mangabeys, white-faced sakis, Madagascar collared lizards, Hardun lizards, Keel-billed toucans, plain-colored amazons, California tiger salamanders or blue dart frogs, this vast zoo has it all.
