Wekiwa Springs
Only about 15 miles from Orlando lies Wekiwa Springs State Park. There you can take a dip in water that's a warm 72 degrees year-round. There's hiking, biking and horseback riding. You can also rent a two-person canoe and take a nice day trip down the river. You'll likely see gators, though they generally stay far away from the canoes. Keep an eye out for Florida black bears.
