Fall Fun Days Harvest Festival

German Village Oktoberfest
A family-friendly Oktoberfest celebration typically takes place during the first week of October at the Genoa Park and Amphitheater. The celebration is inspired by the classic German festival and features live German polka music, beer tastings and German food and baked goods for sale. You can explore the Marketplatz that's set up specifically for Oktoberfest and round up some European crafts, antiques and collectibles.

Ohio Swiss Festival
You can take a quick trip to Switzerland in Sugarcreek on the fourth weekend after Labor Day, when the city transforms into "Little Switzerland." Spend the day watching the parade, listening to the alpine horn players, dancing to live polka music and picking up your fair share of fresh Swiss cheese. It's a one-of-a-kind event that is fun for the whole family; admission is free.

Watch the Pumpkin Show
Head to Circleville to take part in Ohio's oldest pumpkin celebration. The event includes a Pumpkin Parade, pie-eating competition, pumpkin toss and even a pet parade. The festival is also the place to round up locally grown pumpkins, gourds and squash from area farmers. It's an annual, family-friendly event that takes place during the third Wednesday through Saturday of October.
