Watch the beautiful Horseshoe Falls from your hotel room window. Every Friday and Saturday there's a fireworks display over the falls in the summer at 10 p.m. During some months, the fireworks are also on Wednesday nights. Watch them from your room with a cozy room service meal. Simply watching the falls light up at night is enough of a thrill, so if you're not there on a night of fireworks, you'll still have a beautiful show all night.

Fireworks
Attend the fireworks at Queen Victoria Park. When you arrive on Friday or Saturday, make sure that you go early enough to visit the beautiful park and enjoy the free Coca-Cola sponsored concerts in the park. The concert begins at 8 on Friday and Saturday evenings and the fireworks start at 10 p.m.

Cave of the Winds
Visit some of the islands around Niagara Falls to get up close and personal with the falls. Stop at Goat Island to see the American and Bridal Veil Falls. Go into the Cave of the Winds and ride 175 feet on an elevator into the Niagara Gorge. You'll get special waterproof protection for this tour because the tour takes you 20 feet from the torrential waters of Bridal Veil Falls and soaks you with its spray. Expect to see a rainbow while you're there. This attraction is open every day from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Skywheel
Find the thrill of a lifetime on the Skywheel. It's not quite a Ferris wheel and not a gondola but a combination of the two. Its height is 175 feet and just looking at it will impress you. It's on the top of Clifton Hill so you're not only higher in the air, you can see for miles around. For the mere sum of $9.99 for an adult and $5.99 per child in 2009, you can ride any day of the week, year around because it's enclosed. The hours change with the season so call ahead.

Enjoy the great outdoors at the Niagara Falls State Park. Go hiking, cross-country skiing, biking or fishing in this beautiful area.
