Island Park is a city in Idaho that is part of Fremont County. Henry's Fork of the Snake River

Henry's Fork of the Snake River goes straight through the plateau of Island Park. This is one of the world's most well known and appreciated fly fishing rivers. This lovely trout stream is also excellent for both fishing and sightseeing. If you want to explore serene flowing meadowland and enjoy the exquisite rainbows that are so common in Box River, then you should stop by Henry's Fork of the Snake River while visiting Island Park.

Snowmobiling

Going snowmobiling in Island Park is ideal because of the area's hundreds of miles of immaculate trail and abundant snow (during the wintertime). Not to mention, the scenery is absolutely marvelous along the way. During the winter, Island Park gets approximately 229 inches of pure white snow, which is ideal for snowmobiling. There are four individuals employed to keep the snowmobiling trails as impeccably orderly and groomed as possible. It is by far one of the state's least limited areas for snowmobiling. Visitors should consider renting snowmobiles from the company Mountain Mayhem.

Big Springs

Big Springs is one of the main areas of Snake River. This is a massive springs that brings forth enormous volumes of water that is clear and clean. Big Springs is particularly notable for two reasons, which are the big trout that you can actually see from the bridge (you can even feed the fish if you'd like), and also for Johnny Sacks Cabin (the historical home of the German cabinet maker; notable for its fine craftsmanship).

Coffee Pot Rapids

Coffee Pot Rapids starts around the Coffeepot Campground area. This is a trail that is great for hiking. It lasts about two and a half miles along Henry's Fork of the lovely Snake River. If you hike along, you will be able to view calm waters that eventually turn into wild rapids. You will see flowers like lodge pole pine, geraniums, twinberry, snowberry and glacier and sego lilies along the way.

Continental Divide

The Continental Divide (CDT) is the trail that divides North America. It goes along the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico up to Alberta in Canada. The divides goes through Island Park and provides a scenic trail route that goes straight through the Island Park area. Visitors can access the trail through Targhee Creek Road, Keg Springs Road, East Dry Creek Road and Black Canyon Road. The hiking trails range from mild to rather strenuous and difficult, rugged terrain. This trail is exciting because of its breathtaking natural beauty and panoramic viewpoints of the area.
