In existence since 1978, The Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame depicts Lea County's past from the viewpoint of the Native Americans, as well as the settlers, homesteaders, soldiers and buffalo hunters of the area. The Lea County Museum exists in order to maintain and share the rich histories of the area's Native Americans, oil men, town builders, homesteaders, farmers and ranchers. The museum is home to a lot of important historical structures for the county, such as Caprock store from 1913, the Commercial Hotel from 1918, the Dugout from 1908 and the Baker School from 1914. Harry McAdams State Park

The Harry McAdams State Park in Hobbs is a beautiful place to enjoy natural scenery and beauty.
