Things to Do in Dayton, Ohio
Dayton, Ohio is the birthplace of aviation. But the city also offers history, local culture and family fun. You can spend the day wandering through man-made wonders and hand made bakery stands while soaking up the beautiful Ohio scenery. If you are ready to plan your trip to Dayton, here are some places you should definitely stop and check out.
National Museum of the United States Air Force
If you have even the slightest curiosity about the history and growth of the flying machine, this is a must-see while in Dayton. Walk through previous Air Force 1 planes, see antique war planes and early passenger vehicles. There is much ground to cover but the staff are very accommodating and this free museum even has motorized scooters for those who have trouble walking. Top it all off with an IMAX movie in the attached theater.
